Occupational Safety & Health Association of Jharkhand (OSHAJ)

Our mission is to create safe, healthy, and humane workplaces where no earning parent has to die prematurely. OSHAJ has been helping silicosis victims for several years. Silicosis is a preventable but incurable lung disease caused by inhalation of silica dust, common in mining, stone crushing, ramming mass units, and construction. OSHAJ has been instrumental in policy development and victim rehabilitation and universal health initiatives.
